
A criminal warrant application has been filed against Chattooga County Sole Commissioner, Andy Allen, in the Magistrate Court of Chattooga County.
NO ACTION HAS YET BEEN TAKEN ON THIS APPLICATION.
A Probable Cause Hearing to determine whether the warrant should be issued will be held on Wednesday, May 7, at 2:00 p.m. at the Courthouse Annex, 120 Cox Street in Summerville.
In the application for criminal warrant, William Wilson of Annville, KY, stated that Commissioner Allen “assaulted me by opening my truck door and trying to pull me out of my truck cause he had to wait for me to back in off road- tore my shirt about off me.”
The incident occurred on Little Sand Mountain Road on March 3, 2025.
Judge Maddux said that the hearing is open to the public and that an out-of-town judge will hear the case. Judge Maddux added that the GBI had finished its investigation and turned the findings over to DA Fuller.
