This past Friday, Maisha Ludy was honored at the Family Resource Agency of North Georgia’s volunteer appreciation event, where she received the award for EHS (Early Head Start) Center Volunteer of the Year.
A proud mom of three boys, Maisha is deeply involved in their schools and is always ready to lend a hand—whether it’s prepping classroom materials, reading to students, or helping with events. Her passion for giving back and supporting kids and teachers doesn’t go unnoticed.
In addition to volunteering, she works as the Family Connection Coordinator for Chattooga Family Connections, where she helps connect local families to the resources they need.
Maisha shared the news on social media, saying, “It was a great honor and a fun time. I love being deeply involved in each of my boys’ schools.”
The award is a well-deserved recognition for someone who puts her heart into everything she does.
