Cloudland at McLemore Opens with 200+ Employees

One of the largest private investments in the history of Walker County just opened for business! Cloudland at McLemore Resort, a new 245-room Curio Collection by Hilton hotel and event center on Lookout Mountain, is now open for business 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

The resort currently employs just over 200 people. During the peak season, over 300 people will be on the staff. In addition, new sales tax revenue for the county is expected to approach nearly $3-million annually.

There is 20,000 square feet of event space and six meeting rooms to accommodate groups. There are also two full-service restaurants. The Croft offers simple fresh food, while Auld Alliance (opening later this spring) will provide a fine dining experience featuring French and Scottish cuisine.
